"We had been trying to think of some year-round events we could do with the community, and a librarian told me about the Sing With Our Kids website. I filled out the community assessment form, using the guide, and it really helped me figure out where the best places would be to have events.

This summer we had campfire sing-alongs just after dark. We projected the website lyrics on an outdoor screen so everyone can sing along. A few of our employees play guitar, so they played, and we invited folks to bring their instruments as well. We’re going to hold a community caroling event this December and invite folks to bring their Smartphones to read along with the lyrics as we walk around the business district.

We’ll finish at the community center with hot chocolate and cookies. I love the event planner in the community toolbox that makes it so easy to plan our events! "
